“The Drowning Pages”

This monologue is taken from Edgar’s play The Drowning Pages, which was produced at LaMama in 2000. It is now part of the collection of poetry and prose on the album “Desire & the Sea.  This version of the monologue was performed at Axis Theatre in November of last year:
